Housing project in CLT published in A+, Namur (BE) - (June 22, 2018)

A unique project of Specimen Architect and Ney & Partners WOW Timber Structures is published ‘In the picture’ in the magazine A+.  The construction site had stringent restrictions: only 6 m depth and no natural light entering from the back. The structure made up of CLT-plates is light, fast to build and has a limited thickness. The facade is self-supporting and works on each floor as a vierendeel girder: a grid of square porches consisting of CLT-plates and steel beams. An innovative project that certainly will inspire.
