Program
Project including severel buildings on the COOVI campus, both transformations & new constructions. Complete structural study of the buildings : car park, sports hall, student housing, kitchen tower, entree pavillion.
Concept
A series of stacked kitchens, structurally supported by technical shafts around their perimeter, makes up a landmark tower along the highway. The sports hall is a timber/steel hyperbolic paraboloid, covered with transparent ETFE-cushions. A bent, cantilevered concrete structure marks the entrance to the site.
Specific features
In structural terms, every building of the program presents a complete rethinking of existing typologies.
