Complete design (including structural studies). The project was won after a design competition in collaboration with general contracting company Depret.
Concept
Mobile bridge of a new typology. A two stayed bridge where one stay is incorporated into a piston. Both approach spans are mixed concrete-steel constructions while the mobile part consists of an orthotropic steel deck. The mobile span has a length of 16m, the two fixed spans have a length of 11m (total length 38m).
Specific features
The piston also functions as a stay. New innovative topology for a mobile bridge.
