Complete study of the structure.
Concept
The project consists of a building of which only the front part, located along the avenue of the Army, will be preserved.
The new additions are the extension of the existing front building and a new building in the back, both connected by the car-park in the basement.
To the front building 5 floors are added to the ground floor and the building in the back has 2 floors on top of the ground floor.
The structure of the building is traditional and is composed primarily of reinforced concrete and masonry.
Specific features
Two technical difficulties are to be mentioned: It are the cantilevers on the existing building and the addition of the basement.
