Complete structural engineering of residential and commercial tower complex.
Concept
"Leopold village" is a real estate development situated in the heart of Brussels EU district. The project consists of residential and commercial floors, hotel facilities and a car park. The foundations of the tower are situated above the roofslab of the Belliard tunnel, while the other volumes are spread over the rest of the site. The buidling structure is classic, but very rationalised (aswell from a financial point of view and as for the completion deadline)
Specific features
The foundations are very complex due to: the topography of the site, the nearness of the tunnel, a spillover basin and the characteristic of the soil.
