Complete study of the stability of the renovation and the transformation of the Crossing-stadium.
Concept
The Crossing stadium, situated in the upper part of the Josaphat Park, makes part of the historical big Brussels clubs. Since 1975, the stadium was neglected and was in far dilapidation state. In 2005, Beliris decided to undertake the entire renovation of the stadium.
A new stand for 1500 seating places was built along the Suffrage Universel Avenue. It shelters different facilities like changing rooms or sanitary.
The stand along the Louis Bertrand avenue is protected. It was completely restored to offer 1.000 more standing places.
Specific features
The concrete structure was highly carbonated. A re-alkalization treatment was undertaken to give back to the concrete its initial properties.
