The construction started in April 2011. All 30 identical bridge pylons have been constructed for the northern approach span. The steel casing for these pylons has now been moved to the south side for the construction of the pylons of the southern approach span.

Every week one such concrete pylon is constructed. Four cylindrical arches of the northern approach bridge have already been constructed. On the 2nd June the general public was able to visit the site.
