Today the Jaagpad bridge crossing the Dijle has been put in place.
The bridge was entirely pre-fabricated and transported by truck to the site.
Due to site conditions two cranes were needed to place the bridge on the renovated abutments. As designed, the bridge fitted exactly on and between the existing abutments.
In the next few weeks the abutments will be finished.
